Farewell to long service team member

MYM Technology is a global specialist in Physical Vapour Deposition for moulded plastic parts — an elegant metallized surface that can be brilliantly reflective, deeply matte, electrically conductive for EMI shielding, or completely non-conductive when it must not be.
Who we are
Our PVD technology is a series of processes that give moulded plastic parts an elegant metallized surface finish. Those finishes are not only cosmetic — the same coatings provide Electro-Magnetic Interference shielding where a product needs it.
And where electrical conductivity is not wanted, the very same appearance can be achieved non-conductively. That single piece of process control is why our parts end up in cars, televisions, medical devices and the things people hold in their hands every day.
What we do
A part can arrive as a drawing and leave as a finished, marked, assembled component without ever leaving the building. One of the eight is why customers come to us — the other seven are why they stay.
01 — Our core
Turning moulded plastic into metal — in a vacuum, one atom at a time.

ISO 13485 · MDAHow a part is made
Six stages, each measured — because a metallized surface shows every mistake made before it.
Single or double-shot injection, 50–500 ton, with in-house jigs and masking fixtures printed on our own FDM machines.
Parts are cleaned, base-coated and cured. Nothing reaches the chamber with a surface that would telegraph through the film.
In a chamber pumped down to high vacuum, metal is vaporised and condenses on the part — aluminium for reflectivity, or specialised alloys for NCVM.
A protective UV or thermal-cured lacquer locks in the finish and sets the final gloss, from full mirror to deep matte.
Laser marking, pad and silk-screen printing, CNC inking and hot foil stamping put the artwork exactly where the drawing says.
Manual, semi-auto and autonomation assembly with integrated vision inspection, then packing to the customer’s standard.
